Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Prerna Manik Mahindroo is an Assistant Professor with KJSIM since 2014. She has a Doctorate Degree in Operational Research from the University of Delhi. She has publications in B and C category journals (ABDC list) and has published 16 research papers in international journals and proceedings of international conferences. She is PhD Guide at Somaiya Vidyavihar University and also serves as Associate Editor for the journal Business Perspectives and Research (BPR), Management Journal of K J Somaiya Institute of Management, ‘C’ Category (ABDC list), UGC approved, and Scopus Indexed biannual refereed journal.

She joined KJSIM as an Academic Associate (Quantitative Techniques) in February 2013. Earlier she was appointed as University Teacher Assistant for 2 years (May 2010 – May 2012) with the Department of Operational Research, University of Delhi, Delhi and also served as an Assistant Professor for 2 months in Chetana’s R K Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai before joining SIMSR as an Academic Associate.

Administrative Responsibility:

In a  short period at SIMSR, she in addition to shouldering her faculty responsibility has been sincerely contributing to many institutional building activities and is a core member of the organizing team for the International Business Analytics Conference @ KJSIM.

Research Work:

She has a publication in B and C Category Journal and has published 16 research papers in International Journals and Proceedings of International Conferences and 4 papers in Proceedings of National Conferences. She is deeply indulged in research. 

She has also presented papers in 10 National and International conferences. Her paper titled “Dynamic Promotional Resource Allocation for Multi-Products in a Segmented Market” was adjudged as best paper by 5th International Conference of Management and Behavioural Sciences, organized by Society of Management and Behavioural Sciences, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India.

Awards and Recognitions:

She was the topper in college and stood second in University during her Masters in Operational Research from St. Stephen’s College. She stood first in college in all three years of her graduation.
