Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Radha Iyer is a Professor and the Area Chairperson for the General Management area with K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR). Along with seventeen years of experience in academia, she has a decade plus of industry experience with organizations like The Great Eastern Shipping Company, Marico Industries and Indian Hotels.

She has a Master's in Administration Management ( MAM)  from JBIMS and PhD in Learning & Development from SNDT - Mumbai. She has facilitated management development programmes for various organizations in the areas of human resource management, innovation and entrepreneurship. Her consultancy assignments as an assessor span organizations in the hospitality, tourism, IT, Pharmaceuticals and banking industry. She has been a visiting faculty at IIM Ranchi. She heads the Innovation & Entrepreneurship cell and the base of the pyramid community initiatives at SIMSR. Currently she facilitates courses on entrepreneurship, design thinking, innovation, social entrepreneurship & managing new ventures.

She is the recipient of multiple awards for teaching. Her contribution to literature, are in the area of entrepreneurship & management development.
