SPRIHA 

SPRIHA is an Inter-B school Summer Internship Presentation Competition organised by K J Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai. Students from second year specialising in Marketing, Finance, Operations and Human Resources, Data Science & Analytics or any other specialisation are invited to participate in this competition.

Eligibility Criteria

• Final year students pursuing two-year full-time MBA/PGDM/MMS programme are eligible for competing in SPRIHA.
• The duration of the summer training should be 45-60 days in respective specialisation.

Selection Process

• Soft copy of the summer project report should be submitted on the email id: spriha.simsr@somaiya.edu by 1^st August, 2022.
• Name of the files submitted should be in the following format: CollegeName_CandidateName_Specialization
• The email subject should be in the following format SPRIHA_CollegeName_CandidateName_ContactNo.
• There are two rounds of the selection process.
• Round I: Entries will be short-listed by subject experts based on the evaluation criteria. The short-listed candidates will be duly intimated through e-mail / phone by 12^th August, 2022
• Round II: Shortlisted candidates will have to send 2-minute videos (stating the objective, scope, methodology and findings of the project) and their Powerpoint presentations by 18^th August, 2022.
• The names of the short-listed candidates will also be displayed by 25^th August, 2022 on the institute’s official social media handles.

Guidelines for submission and presentation

• No registration fees
• Multiple entries from one college are allowed.
• The submitted project reports should be in the Microsoft Word format in Times New Roman font size 12 and single line spacing.
• The cover page of each entry should contain student name, student email address, postal address and phone number along with the functional area in which the project should be considered for evaluation from all specialisations.
• Each contestant will be allowed 15 minutes of presentation time followed by an open defence session of 5 minutes, making it a total of 20 minutes.

Evaluation Criteria

• The project reports shall be evaluated on the following parameters:
• Problem formulation
• Rigour of research analysis/ Contribution to business development / process improvement
• Communication and Presentation skills/ Competency during viva/ Question handling
• Key outcomes and their applicability

Prizes

Cash Prizes awarded to winners are as mentioned below:

• Winner - INR 40,000 /-
• 1^st Runner Up - INR 20,000 /-
• 2^nd Runner Up - INR 10,000 /-
