Faculty rules for issue of books
  • A faculty can borrow 30 books at a time for 3 months. Faculty can issue Text books, Reference Books and Periodicals if required in classroom teaching.
  • Absolute silence shall be maintained in the Library
  • Briefcases, bags and other personal belongings including books must be kept at the depositary rack in the reading section.
  • Reader/s should not deface, mark, underline, write, and tear pages or damage library material in any way. Anyone found doing so will be charged for the replacement of the old material with the new material and additionally a fine will be levied.
  • Reference books, Newspapers, Magazines, Journals should not be taken out of the library.
  • Use of mobile phones in the library and reading area are strictly prohibited. Mobile phones must be keep on silent mode inside the Library or a fine of Rs.100 will be imposed.
  • Books will be issued to the members only on producing the College Identity Card.
  • Library Users are strictly prohibited from taking the borrowed and stamped books again inside the Library
  • The borrower will be responsible for any loss or non-return of any books issued against his / her I-identity card.
Students rules for issue of books
  • All students can borrow 10 Book for 14 days , Students can issue only text books.
  • Borrower Cards are not transferable. If any student found to use any other students I-card, fine will be charge Rupees 100.
  • Students must produce their library card while entering the library to borrow books and journals and at any other time if asked to do so by the library staff.
  • Open access system is followed in the Library. Students are free to browse through books placed in the shelves. Books taken out of the shelves must be placed on the trolley or table kept in the stack area.
  • Eating, sleeping and talking on mobile phone are strictly prohibited in the library, file will be imposed Rupees 100 for the same.
  • No library material can be taken out of the library without written permission.
  • If the due date for return of book/s falls on a holiday, the next working day will be considered as the due date (Sunday is a working day for the library).
  • If any book is lost or damaged beyond repair, the person responsible shall replace it with a new copy for the cost of the current price and handling charges.
  • A fine of Rupees 10 per day per book will be imposed for late submission of library book.
  • Readers shall be held responsible for any damage done to the book belongings to the Library and Shall be required to replace such books or pay the value thereof.
  • Library will be closed as per institute notified holidays.
